Long-Term Industrial Flooring Partnership | Amico Services
How dependable preparation, adaptable flooring systems and consistent delivery supported four industrial projects covering more than 30,000 m².
Completed industrial epoxy flooring from the first project in Pasir Gudang.
From large-scale epoxy flooring to multi-level cement grout and a heavy-duty polyurethane system, each requirement called for a solution matched to the site, substrate and intended use.

Heavy-duty PU flooring system
Our relationship with a long-standing industrial customer developed across four projects between 2021 and 2025. What began as a 7,779 m² epoxy flooring assignment grew into a larger repeat scope, multi-level cement-grout work and a specialised heavy-duty polyurethane floor.
Together, the projects cover approximately 30,171 m². Their real value, however, is the customer's continued confidence in Amico Services to understand each new requirement, organise the work responsibly and deliver the appropriate system.
Building Confidence with Large-Scale Epoxy Flooring
A cleaner and more uniform industrial floor, supported by detailed mechanical preparation.
For the first project, our team mechanically ground the concrete to remove weak material and create a suitable coating profile. Local defects were repaired before applying a solvent-based primer and epoxy finish across approximately 7,779 m².
The completed floor provided a cleaner and more uniform working surface—and established confidence in Amico Services' ability to manage a large industrial flooring project from preparation through to handover.
Trust Expanded into a Larger Epoxy Scope
Two years after the first project, the partnership progressed to an epoxy flooring area almost twice the original size.
Two years later, the customer returned with an approximately 14,000 m² epoxy flooring scope—the largest single area in the partnership and almost twice the size of the first project.
The system again combined mechanical grinding, local repairs, solvent-based primer and epoxy finish. The larger floor demanded tighter control of manpower, materials and work sequencing, while the customer benefited from a team already familiar with the expected site standards.
From preparation to final finish
The photographs show the progression from prepared concrete to a continuous grey finish. Controlled mixing, application timing and work-zone movement helped maintain consistent coverage across the large factory floor.
Returning with a Different Construction Requirement
A multi-level cement grout scope requiring material movement, access planning and coordinated placement.
In 2025, the customer returned with a different challenge: a 50 mm cement-grout build-up covering approximately 4,392 m² across four upper floors at Menara MSC Cyberport.
Materials, tools and equipment had to move from ground level through designated routes while placement progressed around other building activities. The system and location had changed, but the expectation for dependable coordination remained the same.
Heavy-Duty PU Flooring for the Stamping Area
A 7 mm polyurethane flooring build-up selected for heavy traffic, impact resistance and demanding industrial use.
The stamping area required more than a repeat of the earlier epoxy system. A 7 mm heavy-duty polyurethane floor was selected for traffic, impact resistance and an 80 kN/m² loading requirement.
The concrete was scarified, joints and local defects were repaired, and a polyurethane scratch coat was completed with a thicker finishing layer. Materials were organised for progressive application across the approximately 4,000 m² area.
Prepared for demanding industrial use
The completed surface shows how the technical solution evolved with the customer's needs. From solvent-based epoxy in 2021 to a 7 mm polyurethane system in 2025, the method changed while the focus on preparation and consistent workmanship remained unchanged.
Long-Term Value Comes from Consistent Delivery
Across four projects, the strongest result is the continuity of trust. The work progressed from large-scale epoxy flooring to a larger repeat scope, multi-level cement grout and a specialised heavy-duty polyurethane system.
For Amico Services, long-term value means preparing properly, selecting an appropriate method and delivering with enough consistency that customers feel confident calling us again.
When every project is approached with care, one successful delivery can become the foundation for a lasting partnership.
